👋Hi, my name is Bukun Ren and I'm a Data Scientist & AI Researcher, focused on multimodal AI, visual-language models, and deep learning.

I hold a Master's degree in Operations Research and have published multiple papers spanning multimodal learning, computer vision, NLP, and predictive maintenance — with 45+ citations on Google Scholar.
I'm passionate about using AI to resolve practical challenges! In my free time, I enjoy playing squash and reading. My goal is to use my skills and expertise to improve people's lives with AI and hopefully contribute a little bit more to this world along the way!

🚗 Tesla — Data Scientist

Worked on data-driven solutions for autonomous driving and vehicle intelligence. Applied machine learning and deep learning models to analyze large-scale sensor data, improve predictive systems, and optimize manufacturing and quality control processes.

🥈 Runner-Up — AI Data Analysis Competition: Achieved runner-up in Tesla's internal AI data analysis competition.

🔧 Bosch — AI Researcher

Contributed to AI-powered predictive maintenance and anomaly detection platforms. Developed deep learning pipelines for industrial IoT data, enabling early fault detection and operational efficiency improvements across manufacturing systems.

🏆 RBCW Award 2025 — Digitalization: The E2E project was recognized as the project with the biggest impact in bringing value to RBCW in business and operations, achieving the highest scores during the judge selection.
